1 Bedroom House in Bukit Timah, Singapore
This is a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood in Bukit Timah / Jalan Jurong Kechil area. We are 5 minutes walk to the MRT station - Beauty World - which is on the Downtown Line (blue). It takes around 25 minutes to get to Orchard Road.
We have tortoises and chickens and roosters in coops in our garden. Please be aware if you are sound sensitive that the roosters crow early every morning from around 6am. It’s been fine with most guests, and ear plugs are provided if necessary
Transport:
- 5-7 minutes walk to Beauty World MRT (Downtown Line - blue)
- 25 minutes to get to Orchard Road (will be faster with Grab taxi service)
- Many buses service this area - 77, 174, 61, 66, 170, 171, 157, 985, 960 etc...

The room:
1. You will have a large, private room on the second floor of our house.
2. queen sized bed (60" X 80"), open wardrobe, dressing table and mirror
3. excellent wifi
4. 2 shared bathrooms on the second and first floor. (NOT ensuite. You will possibly share the washroom with other guests if there are any.)
You will have access to all the shared common areas such as living room, dining room, kitchen, garden, front porch lounge etc.
Sleeps up to 3, we have extra futons and mattresses which would work well for 2 more adults / children.
This room will be suitable for chill / easy going, nature lovers. We appreciate positive people with a can-do attitude. No hotel swappers please!
There’s 3 of us at home - my dad, me, and our helper Dewi. I help to manage thbe room for my dad. I work from home, travel often, but always fast to respond to requests.
